Rights, upstream.
Every contributor signs before recording. No scraping, no downstream ambiguity.
Syntropi is built by people who have trained video models. Engineers, AI researchers, and computer vision practitioners who have shipped production systems and know where real data fails and where it holds up.
We started the company because the video data our own work needed did not exist. Long, continuous, first-person footage of real life, recorded with consent and delivered with provenance, is what the next generation of video and world models will be trained on. We are building the supply.
Syntropi fuses syntropy, the organization of information toward order, with pi, the constant that represents precision and continuity. The name describes what we do. We take the raw disorder of human activity on video and structure it into data that models can train on.
The bottleneck on the next generation of video and world models is not compute and not architecture. It is access to real-world footage with the right shape, the right rights, and the right provenance.
Synthetic data cannot close the sim-to-real gap on its own. Scraped data carries legal exposure that compounds over time. The supply that frontier teams actually need has to be built, contributor by contributor, with the right infrastructure behind it.
Frontier research labs, robotics teams, autonomous systems companies, and scientific research groups where real-world video is the bottleneck. Our work supports video foundation models, world models, embodied AI, and long-horizon planning.
Every contributor signs a contract before recording. Every clip is reviewed before delivery. Every dataset ships with structured metadata and auditable provenance. When the footage a team needs doesn't exist, we design and run the capture program to produce it.
Every contributor signs before recording. No scraping, no downstream ambiguity.
Each clip is reviewed before delivery. Quality is a process, not a claim.
Bespoke capture programs designed around the environments, actions, and modalities you need.
